Aldcroft, Beckett, Venner and Matthews stand out as Gloucester Hartpury win three in a row

The PWR Final 2025 will live long in the memory. An epic battle between the two best teams in England, ended in 34-19 for Gloucester-Hartpury, their third successive PWR title.

Brilliant performances across both teams ensured the Final stood out but four players in particular caught the eye of the boffins at Oval Insights who produced their final report of the 2024-25 season.

  • Zoe Aldcroft contributed more actions than any other player in the PWR Final, a total of 70. She also made three dominant tackles while no other player made more than one.
  • Sarah Beckett, Mia Venner, and Alex Matthews made seven dominant collisions apiece at the weekend - more than any other players.
  • Mia Venner made a round-high six clean breaks and beat 11 defenders in the PWR Final. She also scored a try and made more metres (122) and post-contact metres (36) than any other player.
