Premiership Women’s Rugby has partnered with Clinique this season to support women’s and girls’ rugby clubs with the aim to help further build their confidence and inner strength on and off the pitch.
Every match broadcast live on TNT Sports, a Clinique GameFace Player of the Match is named, with the winning player receiving a bag of Clinque cosmetics to celebrate.
The first Clinique GameFace Player of the Match was Emma Sing, who helped to catapult Gloucester-Hartpury to a 57-29 victory against Leicester Tigers in Round 1. Sing scored two tries and six conversions, proving how invaluable she is to her team.
Trailfinders Women’s Grace White won the award in Round 2 after bagging 12 points against Loughborough Lightning, while May Campbell scored two tries for Saracens in their match against Bristol Bears to earn the award in Round 3.
In an intense matchup between Saracens and Gloucester-Hartpury, Zoe Harrison was named Clinique GameFace Player of the Match for Round 4. Harrison scored six conversions which helped her team to a fourth victory from four games.
Lisa Thomson scooped the award in Round 5 after supporting Trailfinders Women to a sensational success 36-17 win over Leicester Tigers. Thomson carried 16 times and made eight passes to ensure that Trailfinders Women came back from defeat in the previous week with a decisive win.
Exeter Chiefs’ Dorothy Wall was on fire on Round 6, scoring a try inside three minutes and carrying 20 times as they beat Loughborough Lightning in Round 6, while Beth Wilcock’s double against Saracens inspired Harlequins to a narrow win in The Duel a week later.
Meg Jones was named the Clinique GameFace Player of the Match in Round 8 following Leicester Tigers’ first win of the season against Sale Sharks on Sunday 1 December. Jones put in an incredible performance, scoring 12 points, making up a spectacular 162 meters and 18 passes to help lead her team to victory.
Jade Konkel-Roberts was the Round 10 Clinique GameFace Player of the Match, after captaining Harlequins to their seventh consecutive victory. She put in a powerhouse performance, scoring 10 points and tackling 11 players – proving she is invaluable as captain.
