Gloucester-Hartpury sign Wales International Carys Williams-Morris

Gloucester-Hartpury are delighted to announce the signing of Loughborough Lightning and Wales back, Carys Williams-Morris.

She will link up with The Circus having played for Lightning since 2019.

Williams-Morris has played at the highest level for several years now, having represented both England and Wales in internationals. She received five caps for England before switching allegiance to Wales in 2022. The back is one of the seven players that received a full-time contract with Wales going into last years' campaign.

She also serves in the RAF, as a Flying Officer. Williams-Morris represents RAF Rugby and competed at Kingsholm in this April's Army Women vs RAF Women fixture.

She has played top-level rugby for a number of years now and we know she’ll be a valuable addition to the team.

Andrew Ford, Gloucester-Hartpury

Gloucester-Hartpury attack coach, Andrew Ford, said: “We’re excited to bring someone of Carys’ talent into the squad. She has played top-level rugby for a number of years now and we know she’ll be a valuable addition to the team.

"Someone of Carys’ experience will be great for the environment and will help to bring our talented back three players through the pathway and into first-team rugby.”
