Harlequins Sign Red Rose Lizzie Hanlon

Harlequins are excited to confirm the signing of Red Roses prop Lizzie Hanlon ahead of the 2024/25 Allianz PWR season.

The 22-year-old, who made her Red Roses debut against Ireland in the 2024 Six Nations, will join Quins after 39 appearances for Exeter Chiefs Women.

The dynamic prop, who was a promising diver as a teenager, joined Sutton & Epsom RFC at the age of 15, before moving to Devon to study at Exeter University. After impressing at university rugby, she signed for Exeter Chiefs Women in 2022/23, making her first appearance against DMP Sharks.

Her Red Roses debut came in April 2024, earning selection in the England squad for the 88-10 win over Ireland Women. She has since been awarded a Red Roses transition contract for the 2024/25 season.

“I’m really excited to be moving closer to home and joining the Club I supported when I first started playing. I’m looking forward to developing my game, playing with a great group of players, and pulling on the Quins shirt for the first time.”
