Introducing The Rugby Awards, presented by Gallagher

For the first time in the history of English rugby, Premiership Rugby, the Rugby Players Association (RPA), Rugby Football Union (RFU) and Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) will unite to honour the superstars of the sport in an unforgettable evening. 

On Tuesday 3rd June 2025, The Brewery in London will host the inaugural edition of The Rugby Awards, presented by Gallagher – a landmark awards ceremony designed to showcase the very best of elite English rugby.

Simon Massie-Taylor, CEO of Premiership Rugby, said: “We are excited to join forces with the RPA and Premiership Women’s Rugby to deliver The Rugby Awards, presented by Gallagher, combining all three prestigious end-of-season awards ceremonies for the very first time.

“Alongside our commercial partners, broadcasters and of course our players, coaches and club staff we look forward to celebrating the greatness we have witnessed on and off the field during the 2024/25 season.”

The collaborative initiative will recognise excellence across all areas of the sport with the historic occasion culminating in the awarding of the Gallagher Player of the Season 2024/25.

With a limited number of tables available, the Awards will provide an evening of celebration, networking, and entertainment. Attendees can choose between two premium experiences.

In addition, sponsorship opportunities are available for the Awards.

There will also be opportunity to bid on some money-can’t-buy prizes in a Live Auction, with all proceeds raised on the evening going towards Restart Rugby, the official charity of the RPA. The charity supports elite men and women rugby players suffering from serious illness, injury and hardship, providing practical and financial support to them and their families.
