Emily Robinson commits future to Exeter Chiefs

Back-row Emily Robinson has signed a new contract to ensure she remains a part of the Exeter Chiefs Women’s squad.
The 24-year-old joined Chiefs from Harlequins last summer, along with her younger sister Flo, who was making her return to the club.
Since her arrival at Sandy Park, Robinson has made 12 appearances in the PWR and scored one try. Robinson’s debut Chiefs season was interrupted by an ankle injury, but she had made a full recovery by late January.
A valuable England qualified player, Robinson was looking for a new challenge with Exeter Chiefs after five seasons with Quins and has settled into Sandy Park life with ease.
Interim head coach Steve Salvin said: “Robbo has been a real asset to Chiefs since she arrived. Not only is she an excellent operator in the set-piece and the loose, she’s also had an immensely positive impact on the players around her.
“Even when Emily was injured, she was always finding ways to support the team and just leads by example every day whether in a game, in training or carrying out corporate or media duties. She’s even been working on her Spikeball skills! We are delighted Robbo has decided to stay with us."
A carpenter off the pitch who enjoys renovating houses, Robinson was involved in last season’s promotion of the PWR’s campaign with Wates Group, one of the UK’s leading family-owned development, building and property maintenance businesses.
Robinson said: “I am looking forward to another season with the team. The South West is a brilliant place to play and to live, so I am very happy to be staying on.”
