Get Ready for a Mascot Showdown at the Premiership Women’s Rugby Final!

Hold on to your hats, rugby fans! The action on the field at the Premiership Women’s Rugby Final at StoneX Stadium just got a whole lot wilder, as we’re proud to announce PWR’s first-ever Mascot Race!

After Saracen’s own Sarrie The Camel sensationally laid down the challenge to his furry PWR contemporaries on social media, we are pleased to confirm that contracts have now been signed and all the PWR mascots have been invited to take part in the second-biggest duel of the day on Sunday, March 16.

On the day of the PWR Final, as the top teams in women’s rugby go head-to-head, their mascots will be taking to the pitch in a high-energy, fur-flying race of their own.

Expect wild sprints, hilarious tumbles, and mascot shenanigans that will have the whole stadium roaring with laughter.

What’s in store?

• Who: Your favourite PWR mascots
• Where: StoneX Stadium
• When: 16 March 2025, during the halftime break of the Premiership Women’s Rugby Final
• Why: Because mascots deserve a moment of glory too!

The rugby is important of course but the pride of the PWR will be at stake at half-time in the mascot race.

Will home favourite Sarrie the Camel sprint across the finish line first, or will Lightning’s Bernie surprise us all with a last-minute leap? Maybe the northern challenger will prevail in the shape of Sharky.

The race will feature some of rugby’s most iconic mascots, and no one — not even the mascots themselves — knows who will take home the title of Fastest Mascot on the Field.

It’s bound to be a hilarious spectacle full of surprises, and the best part? The winner gets to say they outran their competition on the rugby pitch!
