PWR stars named in Scotland's Six Nations training squad

A wealth of PWR stars have been named in Scotland’s extended training squad ahead of the 2025 Guinness Women’s Six Nations.
Twenty-six of the 34 players in the squad are based in the PWR, including captain Rachel Malcolm – who announced yesterday she is to depart Loughborough Lightning at the end of the season.
Evie Wills, the Leicester Tigers player with three caps, returns to the squad after recovering from an ACL injury that kept her out of the 2023/24 season. This marks her first call-up since her recovery.
Bristol Bears duo Hollie Cunningham and Meg Varley, along with Becky Boyd from Loughborough Lightning and Sale Sharks’ Rachel Phillips, are among nine uncapped players selected by Bryan Easson.

At the other end of the scale, Lana Skeldon will look to add to her 74 caps in the competition while experienced Trailfinders pair Chloe Rollie (70) and Lisa Thomson (64) add plenty of Six Nations knowhow in the backline.
Scotland begin their 2025 Guinness Women’s Six Nations campaign at home against Wales on March 22.
The team will travel to La Rochelle to face France the following Saturday for round two, followed by a home match against Italy at Hive Stadium on April 13.
The team’s away match against England is scheduled for April 19, with the final match against Ireland at home on 'Super Saturday', April 26.
